The Anxiety Clinic is an established clinical psychology practice in Bondi Junction and via telehealth Australia-wide providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for adults, adolescents and children experiencing anxiety, OCD, trauma, mood disorders, behavioural challenges, and a range of related presentations.

We are seeking an outstanding Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Psychology Registrar or Registered Psychologist to join our growing team either locally or nationally.

The role

You will provide psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment across a range of presentations.

Depending on your experience, interests and preferred client groups, your work may include:

• Anxiety disorders and phobias
• OCD
• Panic disorder
• Health anxiety
• Social anxiety
• Trauma and PTSD
• Depression and mood disorders
• Perfectionism and related difficulties
• Workplace and performance-related anxiety
• Perinatal anxiety
• Grief and loss
• Relationship and couple’s therapy
• ADHD and ASD
• Eating disorders
• Parent support
• School and exam stress
• Sleep difficulties
• Other presentations commonly encountered in private practice

Where possible, your caseload can be shaped around the areas in which you would most like to build your expertise.

About you

We are looking for a clinical psychologist who is clinically excellent, emotionally intelligent and genuinely committed to exceptional psychological practice.

You will ideally:

• Be an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychologist, or be undertaking the Clinical Psychology Registrar pathway
• Have a strong interest in anxiety and evidence-based psychological treatment
• Demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal skillsBuild strong, trusting therapeutic relationships 
• Be thoughtful, professional and committed to high standards of care
• Value collaboration, reflection and ongoing learning
• Demonstrate maturity, reliability and initiative
• Contribute positively to a warm, supportive and collegial team environment
• Want to continue developing your clinical expertise within a high-quality private practice

Experience in CBT, exposure-based therapies, ACT, OCD treatment and trauma-informed approaches will be highly regarded.
