Contract Psychologist

Boutique Private Practice – Beaudesert

We are looking for a contract psychologist to join our growing boutique psychology practice located in Beaudesert (45–60 minute commute from Brisbane or the Gold Coast).

• 2–5 days per week.

• Contract rate between $120-$160p.h subject to skill set. experience and qualifications.

About Lavender House

• Our practice is well established with more than 25 years experience servicing the communities of the Scenic Rim.

• We have excellent relationships with a range of referring doctors and agencies and work with clients of all age groups, conducting individual, family and couples therapy.

• Our professional staff comprises psychologists at all stages of their careers – we have generalist psychologists, clinical psychologists, clinical neuropsychologists and provisional psychologists.

• Our practice provides a professional, comfortable and welcoming space for clients to access psychological services to achieve their goals and address their issues.

• The practice Director is a highly experienced psychologist who oversees all aspects of service delivery including review of all new referrals and provision of support to all professional staff.

The Role

• We seek a registered or clinical psychologist with the requisite skill and experience to provide treatment services to our clients.

• Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.

• Experience across the broader lifespan, and/or experience and skill in providing EMDR and/or other evidence-based treatments for trauma, couples therapy, and/or DBT or other personality-focussed interventions, would also be highly valued.

What We Offer

• A consistently full caseload from day one, supported by our established referral network and long-standing relationships with referring doctors and agencies across the Scenic Rim.

• Peer consultation and on-site clinical support for complex or challenging presentations.

• All administrative tasks – bookings, billing and rebate processing – managed on your behalf, so your time is client-facing.

• A flat fee per delivered session (50–60 minutes), open to negotiation.

• The role is offered on a contract basis, 2–5 days per week.
