Ongoing work: Take on a case of Kinbase families for ongoing psychotherapeutic intervention. Work collaboratively with Kinbase medical specialists and the rest of the multidisciplinary team throughout the episode of care.

Triage support: Provide occasional psychology specific oversight to the Kinbase triage process. The Kinbase Triage Nurse will hold responsibility for triaging referrals and allocating to clinicians, however, occasional input from the multidisciplinary team (including clinical psychology) in a supervisory capacity is expected. 

Collaborative Care: Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to maintain safety and quality standards of Kinbase.

Compliance: Ensure all clinical activities align with privacy, child safety and healthcare regulatory standards.

Key Selection Criteria

Clinical qualifications: A postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology, current general registration with AHPRA, endorsement as a clinical psychologist, and AHPRA Board-approved supervisor status.

Values Alignment: A commitment to Kinbase values ensuring a person-centred approach is the priority for every family.

Previous Experience: A minimum of 5-years’ experience in the mental health field, including with children and/or young people. 

Demonstrated Track Record: Proven ability in the management of patients with a mental illness in the techniques of assessment and psychological therapy. 

Communication: Advanced ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with families during the discovery and care navigation sessions.

Legal: Full working rights in Australia with no current restrictions to practice independently.
