Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health is an established and high performing practice nestled amongst great restaurants and wine bars. We are well connected to the South Melbourne medical and allied health community with an abundance of referrals.

We are currently recruiting for experienced psychologists and clinical psychologists to join our team, with availability to work two, three, or four days a week. Available shifts are predominantly 2 pm - 8 pm, and preference will be given to candidates able to commit to these hours.
Candidates must hold a Masters degree in Psychology as the minimum qualification for this position, and hold current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
A minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification psychology experience is preferred.

- Hold a commitment to the principals of the Code of Conduct for Psychologists including working in a culturally safe manner.
- Be able to balance autonomy with a desire to be engaged with and contribute to an intellectual, collaborative and supportive company culture.
- Be eager to actively participate in peer supervision and professional development opportunities.
- Arrive to work with integrity, compassion, a great work ethic, and a capacity to also park work for a laugh or supportive conversation with colleagues.
- Be available to work some afternoons and evenings, or Saturday to meet a high demand for after-hours appointments.
Particular skills or interests that would broaden our teams capacity to accept referrals may include:
- Experience working with people with eating disorders and disordered eating
- Interest in working with clients experiencing OCD and other related conditions.
- Practiced in providing evidence informed treatments for attachment trauma, C-PTSD, and relational difficulties.
- Having an understanding of the evidence and appropriate therapeutic interventions when working with women experiencing perimenopause and menopause.
- Skills and experience in working with men experiencing mental ill health.
- A capacity to integrate psychological interventions for anxiety, depression and adjustment with complex experiences such as working with grief and complex grief.
- Confidence and experience working with older adults.
