Psychologists (General and Provisional)

Unmasked Minds Psychology is a small private psychology practice providing services to individuals across the lifespan. We provide assessment and therapeutic services and supports, with a focus on a neuro-affirming approach, and want to provide all of our participants with a safe and nurturing space to grow and unmask. We are dedicated to providing trauma-informed, tailored and individual care, where participants feel connected, seen and heard.

We currently provide services in the South Burnett region, however are also servicing the Toowoomba and Brisbane areas. We are a mobile practice, offering a range of home visits, office spaces and telehealth.

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with neurodiversity, with a focus on neuro-affirming practice and supporting individuals to live as their authentic selves, making them feel seen, heard and understood.
  • You will be providing evidence based psychological interventions and therapy for a diverse range of participants with differing presenting needs.

  • You will be providing psychological assessments to clients, including assessments relating to neurodiversity, cognitive functioning and capacity.

  • Maintaining client records and ensuring compliance with professional and ethical standards.

  • Collaborating with care teams, including healthcare and allied health professionals, NDIS stakeholders, families and others, to provide holistic, client-centred care.

  • Participating in regular supervision and professional development activities.

You will need:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a General or Provisional Psychologist

  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening card and Blue Card, or willingness to get these

  • Experience (or willingness to learn and develop) in trauma-informed practice and working with participants with disabilities

  • Passion for providing holistic care, with a true willingness to work collaboratively with clients and their care teams.

  • Passion for providing care that meets the participant where they are and in what they need, working towards their goals and what a good life means for them.

  • Driver’s License and willingness to travel, as travel is a part of this role
