The
role assists the Principal Practitioners and Lead Psychologists
within the team to apply Countering Violent Extremist frameworks
The purpose of
role is to enhance community safety by facilitating effective risk
management, supervision and
improved rehabilitation of offenders demonstrating violent extremist
indicators, grievance/targeted threat or mass homicide
potential.
The Senior
Practitioner, CVE role is a developing clinical role that
provides to support to operational staff while building deeper capability
in countering violent extremism, grievance/targeted threat or
mass homicide potential. The role uses solid knowledge and experience of
skills in risk assessment and management across a range of forensic
behaviours of concerns and applies this to violent extremist offenders
under the guidance of more experienced practitioners.
