Psychologist - permanent part-time

About the role

Chimes Wellbeing is looking for a registered or provisional psychologist who values high-quality clinical care, on a permanent part-time basis (2 days a week initially, with the option to increase if desired). You will provide psychological therapy to clients through in-person appointments at our comfortable Maryborough office, telehealth appointments, or a combination of both depending on your preferences, availability and referral suitability. An interest in children/ adolescents is ideal but not essential.

Key responsibilities

  • - Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy to clients across a range of presentations 

  • - Deliver services in person, via telehealth, or through a blended model where clinically appropriate 

  • - Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical notes and documentation 

  • - Work collaboratively with referrers, general practitioners, allied health professionals and other stakeholders where required 

  • - Contribute to a respectful, ethical and client-centred practice culture 

  • - Manage your clinical schedule in line with your preferred availability and practice needs 

About you

  • - Current general or clinical registration as a psychologist with AHPRA 

  • - Eligibility for a Medicare provider number, or willingness to obtain one (not applicable for provisionals)  

  • - Professional indemnity insurance and an ABN, or willingness to arrange these prior to commencement 

  • - Strong communication skills and a warm, professional approach with clients 

  • - Ability to work independently while welcoming collaboration, feedback and support 

  • - Experience in assessment and evidence-based intervention
