Come and do your best work on the Sunshine Coast
Whether you're a Clinical Psychologist, a General Psychologist, or a Provisional Psychologist building the early chapters of your career, if you want to grow somewhere warm, supported and genuinely caring, then keep reading. We'd love to meet experienced clinicians and those still finding their feet alike.
Zoe Allied Health is a multidisciplinary paediatric clinic with beautiful, calm spaces in Caloundra and Maroochydore. Psychology sits alongside Speech, OT and Support Services, and we're known for two things: excellent, genuinely caring work, and looking after our team as well as our clients.
We work across the lifespan, but it's no secret that children and families are our heart, always with neurodiversity-affirming practice. You'd support childhood developmental concerns, anxiety in all its forms, mood and stress, the knock-on effects of school and work, and parenting and family support.
We'd love to have a coffee with you if…
- You love people and enjoy adding value to their lives.
- You're passionate about psychology and working within an MDT.
- You enjoy children and families in a non-acute setting.
- You want mentoring, support and to be part of something special, whether you're early career or well established.
How we invest in you
- Regular individual and group supervision with our Clinical Lead, including board-approved supervision and structured support toward general registration or endorsement for provisional psychologists and registrars.
- A team that's generous in sharing knowledge, plus fortnightly MDT meetings.
- A healthy CPD budget, yours to use as you see fit, and access to online courses and libraries.
- Full admin support for you and your clients, plus templates galore to lighten the load of reports and emails.
- A robust Employee Assistance Program for when it's needed.
- Quarterly off-site team days and an annual retreat (palm tree pending).
Why you'll love working with us
- Flexible hours: "work smart, play always." Full-time or adapted to suit the right person.
- Structured, ongoing coaching that lasts well beyond your first 100 days.
- A positive, committed team that celebrates each other constantly.
- A real say in how we do things, and pathways built around your ideal week.
- A paid birthday off, calm workspaces, snacks and coffee, and life on the Coast.
- A place in our global outreach work, and a bespoke package with rewards and PD beyond your base salary.
What you'd be doing
Face-to-face (and occasional tele) therapy and assessment across clinic and community. Coaching for clients, parents, carers and staff. Planning, delivering and reviewing care. And collaborating with the team on interdisciplinary plans, so families get truly joined-up support. Your caseload and level of independent practice will be shaped to your registration and experience.
Qualifications
- Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist — General, Clinical, or Provisional (essential).
- We warmly welcome Clinical, General and Provisional Psychologists. For provisional psychologists and registrars, we provide board-approved supervision and genuine support toward your general registration or endorsement.
- Lovely to have: an Area of Practice Endorsement, completion of (or progress through) the registrar program, and APS membership.
