Registered or Clinical Psychologist (Contractor)
Join us as we begin an exciting new chapter at
Masterpiece Psychology.
Masterpiece Psychology is a boutique private practice
located just 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD. Under new ownership, we are
building a practice centred on exceptional clinical care, genuine
collaboration, and creating an environment where clinicians enjoy coming to
work.
We're looking for a warm, experienced Registered or Clinical
Psychologist who values autonomy, enjoys working as part of a supportive team,
and is passionate about continuing to grow professionally.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a
practice while building a rewarding and sustainable caseload.
About the Role
- Location:
Edgecliff Mews, just a one-minute walk from Edgecliff Station.
- Flexibility:
Contractor position, 2–5 days per week.
- Remuneration:
60/40 contractor split, with increased percentages available for
clinicians working more than three days per week.
- Caseload:
Build to a full caseload within approximately two months (depending on
days worked).
Our referral base includes Medicare, Victims Services, CTP,
SIRA, NDIS and private clients, providing a broad range of presentations across
the lifespan. While we welcome psychologists with generalist skills, we have a
particular interest in clinicians with experience or a strong interest in
working with trauma and/or children.
What We Offer
We believe that clinicians do their best work when they feel
supported.
You'll receive:
- Full
administrative support, allowing you to focus on clinical work.
- Access
to an established referral network.
- Regular
peer consultation and support with complex cases.
- Individual
supervision for clinicians working a minimum of two days per week.
- Opportunities
for ongoing professional development.
- Training
in Neurofeedback for clinicians interested in becoming technicians.
- Access
to innovative treatment approaches including Neurofeedback, Virtual
Reality therapy, and Cogmed.
- A
fully furnished consulting room and access to our practice management
systems.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds
General or Clinical Registration with AHPRA.
- Is
eligible for a Medicare Provider Number.
- Holds
(or is willing to obtain) an ABN and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Is
confident working independently while enjoying being part of a
collaborative team.
- Is
warm, curious and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based
care.
- Values
ongoing learning and professional development.
Private practice experience is welcomed but not essential.
More importantly, we're looking for someone who is ready to work autonomously
while contributing to a supportive and positive practice culture.
We'd Love to Hear From You
If you're looking for a practice where you'll be trusted,
supported, and encouraged to continue developing your skills while making a
genuine difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
