The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the
delivery of a new Neurodivergent support service within the community. You will
work in the community with organisations to assist families through practical
support and structured group programs. This service delivers a support model
that provides families with knowledge, tools and strategies.
The Role
As Service Lead you will be the clinical
heart of this project. You will work three days per week across the three
partner sites, with a fourth day available for reporting, administration and
Head Office engagement. Additionally you will:
- Lead and mentor two junior co-facilitators
- Build genuine relationships with community
organisations
- Deliver neurodivergent awareness and
professional development sessions
- Manage reporting and documentation to Head
Office
- Monitor participant wellbeing and apply
safe escalation and referral pathways where needed
This role is part time contract as a 0.6 to
0.8 FTE.
About You
We are seeking a person with the right
values and a genuine commitment to community-centred practice with:
- A Psychology degree and current AHPRA
registration (Clinical endorsement and endorsement for supervision highly regarded)
- Experience working with children,
adolescents and families affected by neurodivergence
- Experience facilitating parent-child or
adolescent group programs
- The ability to lead a small team and work
autonomously across multiple sites
- A current Working with Children Check and
driver's licence
