Senior Clinical Psychologist (Supervisor)

Senior Clinical Psychologist (Supervisor)

Use your expertise in a role focused on mentoring, supervision, and meaningful community impact — without the demands of a full private practice caseload.

Salary- $150,000 (FTE)

One Red Tree Resource Centre Inc. is a relational, community-based organisation supporting young people, families, and the next generation of psychologists in the Grampians and Wimmera regions of Victoria.

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist who is a Board Approved Supervisor to support provisional psychologists working across schools and community settings in rural Victoria.

This 12-month (with possible extension) part-time role (0.4 FTE) offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of psychologists while supporting mental health care for children, young people, and families across rural communities.

You’ll be joining a warm, values-led team with established partnerships across education, health, and community sectors.

There is also the option to undertake private practice work through our clinic if desired, creating a flexible and sustainable professional role.

This role may suit an experienced clinician looking to step away from the demands of full-time private practice while remaining deeply connected to the profession.

Why this role stands out

More than supervision, this role offers the opportunity to strengthen access to mental health support for rural children, families, and communities.

At One Red Tree, you’ll be part of a relational, community-embedded model working across schools, health services, and community settings. You’ll support provisional psychologists delivering early intervention and mental health care to young people aged 4–18.

What you’ll do

  • Provide individual and group supervision to provisional psychologists

  • Support psychologists working in school and community-based settings

  • Contribute to clinical decision-making, risk management, and care planning

  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, local services and the One Red Tree team

  • Help strengthen and evolve a well-established rural workforce model

What we offer

  • Purpose-driven work with genuine community impact

  • Working alongside an experienced leadership team

  • Structured systems and established placement partnerships already in place

  • Strong administrative support

  • Flexible and sustainable workload expectations

  • A collaborative, values-led clinical team with shared clinical governance and peer consultation

  • Professional development in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with industry leader

  • Generous salary packaging (up to $15,900 + $2,650 meals/entertainment)

  • 6 weeks leave (pro rata, with leave loading)

  • Opportunities to contribute to program development and innovation

  • Flexible working arrangements considered
