Psychologist - Registered, Clinical or Clinical Registrar

Shape the future of private practice with us.

We're motivated to recruit promptly due to high demand and exciting growth ahead, and we welcome all expressions of interest.

Brisbane Centre for Psychology is a well-established, client-focused private practice with two locations in the Stafford precinct. Known for our longstanding reputation for clinical excellence, we provide psychological therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our team of highly skilled psychologists is supported by a dedicated Client Support Team and a warm, collaborative culture that values integrity, respect, and evidence-based care.

We have a strong passion for supporting clients from all walks of life, presenting with a wide range of concerns. Diversity is not just welcomed here—it's embraced. Variety is the spice of life, and we cherish that. From civilians to members and veterans of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), to First Responders and everything in between, we are privileged to work with a rich and eclectic client base, supported by varied referral sources.

We are seeking highly skilled psychologists who share this commitment to serving our community. We're not interested in a 'bums on seats' approach—we value clinicians who take pride in the services they provide and want to be recognised for their clinical expertise, judgement, and genuine attunement to clients.

We're entering an exciting new chapter at BCP with the development of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PAT). As part of this evolution, we're looking to expand our team with passionate and experienced psychologists who have a strong interest in this emerging field.

About the Role

As a Psychologist with Brisbane Centre for Psychology, you will:

  • Uphold practice policies and AHPRA standards in all client interactions

  • Maintain proficiency with Zanda (formerly PowerDiary) practice management software

  • Optional: conduct psychological assessments (ASD, ADHD, SLDs) across the lifespan—with support to build capacity in this area if desired

We offer flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, Saturdays, or standard daytime hours. Employment or contracting arrangements are available depending on experience and preference.

What We're Looking For

  • Access to our recently rebranded and refurbished purpose-built consulting suites

  • Opportunity to access supervision from our highly skilled Board Approved Supervisors such as Dr Rosemary Patton for the purposes of CPD or clinical endorsement
