About Us
Nestled within a beautiful courtyard garden, McKinnon Psychology (https://mckinnonpsychology.com.au/) is a bespoke private practice located in the heart of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We are dedicated to helping individuals across the lifespan build emotional health and resilience. We believe that growth and wellbeing are possible, even when facing the most difficult circumstances.
Our mission is to deliver clinical excellence in the psychological assessment and treatment of anxiety and traumatic stress conditions across the lifespan. We aim to help individuals learn ways of coping with life stress and anxiety at the earliest stage possible, setting the stage for a happy and fulfilling life. We are a group of innovative psychologists committed to providing clients with the highest quality of clinical care. We are excited to invite passionate clinicians to join our team as we expand our clinic.
Why Work with Us?
At McKinnon Psychology, we have an incredible team culture where we love to share ideas, empower, and support each other. Our warm and collaborative team culture is built on a solid foundation of respect, inclusivity, empathy, kindness, and trust. While we are a team, we are also dedicated to helping you develop your areas of interest to build your individual profile in the psychology community. We offer regular supervision opportunities and operate a peer supervision program. We also support those who prefer to work more autonomously within the practice.
Balance is of utmost importance to us. We are committed to promoting the self-care and wellbeing of our staff. Our calm and caring therapy dog helps to create a warm and friendly environment that feels less like a clinic and more like a home.
