Gearing Up Psychology has been an established provider of psychological services since 2015 in the Hunter. 

We have a private practice in the beautiful town of Lorn, Maitland in the Hunter region of NSW and are seeking registered and/or clinical psychologists to join our team, to help with the referral load and to play a vital role in providing quality psychological services to our local community. 

Positions available: 

·        Contractor positions: competitive remuneration + superanuation commensurate with qualifications and experience. Further details / options discussed during interview. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

·         Provide quality, evidence based psychological assessments to referred clients using a broad range of evidence based assessment tools.

·         Provide therapeutic sessions using evidence based interventions.

·         Complete electronic client notes and reports to an appropriate standard as outlined by the APS code of ethics / Supervisor standards. 

·         Maintain accurate and confidential client records including progress notes, assessments and reports

·         Write letters to other health professionals and external agencies where necessary

·         Ability to act in a professional manner and work collaboratively with the team. 

Qualifications & Experience - Essential

·         Fully AHPRA registered Psychologist

·         Active ABN 

·         Relevant insurance including public liability and indemnity insurance 

·         Working with children check
