We are looking for another Senior Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, or Registrar to join our child, adolescent, and family-focused team on the Northern Beaches with availability to work at our clinics in Balgowlah and/or Mona Vale.

We are a highly regarded private practice of 25 years located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and Queensland’s Gold Coast providing services to children, adolescents, and families.  We have a warm, dynamic, and widely experienced team who work in a supportive and collaborative environment.  We provide a high standard of clinical care and effective evidenced-based assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families across a broad range of presentations with a strong referral base.  We keep the needs of children and young people front and centre, value the therapeutic relationship, and have a genuine desire to support our clients to achieve change in their lives.  We also value our clinicians and their well-being, so we offer flexibility with working hours and caseload.

About the Role:

We are seeking another Senior Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, or Registrar to join our team in a contract role up to three days per week to provide evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and families.  There is also the opportunity to provide psychometric and educational assessments, if desired.  

We welcome clinicians who would like the opportunity and support to integrate and grow their areas of clinical interest and experience within the practice.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and families will be highly regarded.  Additionally, clinicians with other areas of clinical interests that may integrate well within the practice are also strongly encouraged to apply. 
  • Have a commitment to and experience providing evidenced-based treatments. At Kids & Co. we use a variety of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TFCBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, ACT, COS, Family Therapy, and EMDR. 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport with clients in a consistently professional manner.
  • Deomonstrated bility to work independently while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
  • You uphold ethical standards in all aspects of practice.
  • You have current, or are eligible for, AHPRA Registration (Psychologist).
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
  • Eligibility for an ABN and professional indemnity insurance for working as a Contractor.
  • You have a current Working with Children Check.
