The Role
This role is ideal for a psychologist who is passionate about working across the age range with a particular affinity with adolescents. It will suit a clinician who thrives in a collaborative, supportive, and intellectually stimulating environment. This is an on-site role for a psychologist working a minimum of three days a week (negotiable) located in Geelong West, Victoria.
You will:
- Provide high-quality psychological assessment and therapy to clients
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, GP’s and other professionals when appropriate
- Be committed to feedback-informed treatment through outcome evaluation
- Contribute to a culture of excellent practice, ethical integrity, and continuous learning
- Participate in team supervision and professional development
- Be encouraged to bring initiative, creativity, and new ideas to clinical work
- Demonstrate strong technological competence, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, practice management systems, and web-based clinical platforms
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Masters level qualification in psychology
- Holds current registration with AHPRA
- Has immediate eligibility for Medicare provider status
- Holds Membership with the Australian Psychological Society
- Has experience in child and adolescent mental health
- Demonstrates a commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based practice
- Values teamwork, collaboration, and shared learning
- Is proactive, reflective, and creative in their clinical approach
