Our
postgraduate psychology students complete placements within ISN Clinic and
external partner organisations, delivering accessible mental health services
under the supervision of experienced psychologists. We are now seeking an
experienced Senior Psychologist Placement Supervisor (BAS) to play a key role
in shaping the next generation of psychologists.
The Role
As a Senior Psychologist Placement Supervisor, you will support Masters-level
psychology students across their clinical placements. This varied and rewarding
role combines duty supervision, placement oversight, clinical supervision, and
teaching contributions within a collaborative academic–clinical environment.
Key
Responsibilities
Oversight and coordination of student placements and progress reviews
Arranging placements for students both within ISN Clinics and external
providers
· Establishing and maintaining relationships
with external referrers and placement providers
· Duty supervision onsite in student clinics
of postgraduate psychology students within ISN community clinics
Overseeing remediation supervision processes

Facilitation
of skills-based academic workshops
Maintenance of supervision and placement documentation
Contribution to a positive and professional team environment
About
You
• Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
•
Endorsement in Clinical Psychology
•
Psychology Board of Australia–approved supervisor status
• Experience supervising postgraduate psychology students
• Strong understanding of competency-based supervision
