Be part of a multidisciplinary allied health and special education professional team creating positive change and strengthening the link between wellbeing, inclusion and engagement to support our kids.
 
About the role
The Assistant Director Psychology Services provides professional leadership within a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework and utilises psychological expertise in education to build capability of educators to facilitate access, participation and to maximise educational outcomes for students.
 
This role involves providing psychological consultation, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning and short-term therapeutic interventions to students with complex and challenging behaviour concerns that are having a direct impact on educational outcomes.
 
To be successful you will need to be an experienced psychologist with registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Corporate-based conditions apply to this position. The applicant must hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Notice Clearance and an NT driver’s licence. Visits to remote schools may necessitate travel by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads or light aircraft and include overnight stays in remote communities of up to four days. Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the NT Department of Education.
