About the Role 
Are you ready to make a real impact in the field of psychology? Swinburne University is seeking Lecturer/Senior Lecturers in Psychology to join our dynamic Department of Psychological Sciences. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality teaching and clinical supervision across our suite of APAC-accredited postgraduate programs, which offer training in Clinical, Educational & Developmental, and Forensic Psychology. You’ll coordinate clinical teaching and supervisory activities, ensuring an exceptional learning experience for our students.

You’ll also conduct innovative research and develop strong industry partnerships, contributing to the advancement of psychological practice and evidence-based research. Our department offers state-of-the-art training, preparing students to work with people across the lifespan who present with a range of clinical presentations - from anxiety and depression to developmental and psychogeriatric conditions.

The position(s) will commence in early 2026.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
·       Demonstrated experience teaching in a university setting.
·       A track record of publications and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing research activities.
·       Demonstrated high levels of written and oral communication skills in English.
·       Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.

 
Qualifications
·       A Doctoral degree (PhD or DPsych). (Essential)
·       Registration with AHPRA with a relevant Area of Practice Endorsement. (Preferred)
·       Eligibility to act as a Psychology Board of Australia-approved supervisor in 2026. (Preferred)
