You'll work in a dynamic, multiple centre complex that supports rehabilitation, mental health and wellbeing. These are new, senior clinician roles with purpose, professional growth, and the opportunity to do something that matters.

In addition, prisoners from the low custody sites deliver community service projects locally.

The QCS mental health workforce is currently undergoing a period of change and is expanding its psychology leadership workforce to include experienced social workers and occupational therapists. There has never been a more exciting time to come and work with us in one of these roles.

Integral to the provision of high-level clinical and team leadership, this role will supervise and be accountable for operational management of a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a unique operating environment where you and your team will be supported with professional development and supervision. • coordinating the process of referral, crisis management, assessment, reviews and transition planning within a case management framework
• chairing and leading multi-disciplinary meetings, for example, those that oversee centre decision-making regarding suicide risk assessment and management, and case management of prisoners with complex needs
• collaborating with key stakeholders to develop partnerships that contribute to operational and clinical outcomes.

As a team leader, you will direct, manage and coach using your contemporary human resource practices, and share your professional and clinical knowledge to help build consistent service delivery capability.

To be successful in this role, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create an engaged and high performing team which understands the importance of work/life balance and strong team culture. The job description contains further details of requisite qualifications and role requirements. Please apply if this sounds like the next career opportunity for you.
