Join the Insight Positive Psychological Services Team

At Insight Positive Psychological Services, we believe therapy should feel safe, accessible, human, and empowering for both clients and clinicians. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for passionate, ethical, and warm clinicians to join our expanding team in Camden, NSW.

If you’re looking for a supportive workplace where your skills are valued, your growth is nurtured, and your wellbeing genuinely matters - you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

About Our Practice

Insight Positive Psychological Services is a trauma-informed, client centred private practice supporting children, adolescents, and adults. We work across a range of presentations including:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Self-esteem and identity
  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, learning differences)
  • Emotional regulation
  • Life transitions and burnout

Our approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based practice, and genuine connection. We value collaboration, ongoing learning, and creating a workplace that clinicians actually enjoy coming to.

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team in a contract-based, hybrid role located in Camden NSW, with some flexibility for remote work. The Psychologist will provide evidence-based therapy to clients, conduct psychological assessments, and deliver tailored interventions to address diverse mental health needs. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed client records, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering workshops or group sessions when required. The role also involves participating in case reviews and contributing to the continuous development of high-quality care services.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently welcoming expressions of interest from:

  • Clinical Psychology Registrars
  • Generally registered psychologists
  • Clinical psychologists

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are warm, grounded, and client-focused
  • Value ethical, trauma-informed care
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Are open to reflection, learning, and supervision
  • Want flexibility without feeling isolated

What We Offer:

At Insight Positive Psychological Services, we are committed to supporting you, not just your caseload.

Our clinicians benefit from:

  • Flexible contractor work arrangements (choose your hours and days) (25/75 Split)
  • Consistent referrals and admin support
  • Modern, welcoming therapy rooms in Camden
  • A collaborative, non-competitive team culture
  • Regular supervision and peer support
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
  • Strong ethical and clinical leadership
  • A values-driven practice that prioritises quality over quantity

We actively care about clinician wellbeing and sustainable practice.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Psychology, with knowledge of evidence-based practices and research-backed interventions.
  • Expertise in Counselling and Mental Health, including providing one-on-one therapy and crisis intervention.
  • Skills in Psychological Assessment, including administering and interpreting diagnostic tests and creating treatment plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Psychology or a related field, along with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
