Remuneration:
You will
receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $164,212 p.a.,
comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7) or
remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a. comprising salary between
$128,169 - $137,918 p.a. (HP4), employer contribution to superannuation (up to
12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7/HP4) (Permanent Full
Time, 76 hours p.f.) (Applications will remain current for 12 months)
Your opportunity:
- The Mental Health Clinician will lead the Zero
Suicide initiative for Bundaberg and Rural Mental Health Services. They
will provide clinical experience, leadership, and educational
opportunities to embed a suicide prevention clinical pathway across the
Wide Bay Mental Health Services.
- The Mental Health Clinician plays a key role in
the Suicide Prevention Pathway, conducting comprehensive psychosocial
assessments, collaboratively developing safety plans, and ensuring
coordinated care with the broader mental health team, and Non-government
Organisations. This position requires advanced clinical skills,
compassionate communication, and a strong commitment to early intervention
during periods of heightened vulnerability.
- Provide clinical leadership to high-risk
consumers identified in the Bundaberg Base Hospital Department of
Emergency within 24 hours of presentation, and within 1-7 days post
discharge from high-risk periods of contact with the HHS.
