Grief
Australia is seeking a Clinical Educator to develop, deliver, coordinate, and
facilitate accredited and non-accredited education programs to strengthen their
services. Your objective is to ensure participants are equipped with the
knowledge and skills required to deliver a high standard of care. The role
provides high level subject matter expertise and ensures that all resources and
education delivery are evidence-informed, current, and of the highest quality.
Grief Australia provides continuing professional development for staff members.
Key
requirements for this important role include
- Extensive experience and/or training in
bereavement counselling
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment, or
willingness to obtain
- Five years’ experience as a counsellor and two
years teaching at Tertiary level or within an RTO
- Eligibility for membership of a relevant
professional association, such as the AASW or APS
- Strong understanding of grief and bereavement
literature and evidence-based practice
