Allied Health Practitioner in the Ingham Community Mental Health Team, your
expertise will shape recovery pathways, strengthen team capacity, and deliver
evidence-based care where it matters most.
The opportunity
Step into a senior
leadership role where you'll shape person-centred mental health care across the
lifespan. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll drive service
excellence, empower professional growth, and lead meaningful outcomes for
individuals, families, and communities. Your influence will help cultivate a
values-driven culture built on respect, fairness, accountability, and
transparency.
Key responsibilities
- Provide
mental health assessments, case coordination, and therapy services across
child, youth, adult, and older age groups.
- Conduct
intake assessments and support crisis interventions on a rostered basis.
- Collaborate
with consumers and carers to co-design meaningful recovery pathways.
- Lead
clinical education, professional development, and mentoring initiatives.
- Partner
with government and community organisations to support holistic service
delivery.
What’s on offer?
Temporary Full-time from 08/09/2025 up to 04/09/2026 (with the
possibility of extension – not exceeding 2 years).
Remuneration
package of up to $157,360 p.a., comprising base salary range of $128,169 -
$137,918 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (HP4), recreational leave
loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Role requirements
- The
successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology
(Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution and
registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- This
position requires the incumbent to hold a ‘C’ class motor vehicle licence.
