We are seeking a psychologist with an interest in treatment and/ or assessment to work to join a small and supportive private practice setting.
The practice currently specialises in the provision of clinical and forensic services. Someone with an interest in one or both of these areas would fit in excellently. However, we are also open to expanding the scope of the practice to accommodate additional expertise and interests.
The role will involve a manageable workload, and practitioners can select their ideal combination of individual treatment, group therapy facilitation, assessments, and research.
Clients of Inside Psychology are largely adult, with some scope for adolescent treatment.
Full-time and part-time applications are to be considered. You can select your ideal privision of in-person and telehealth services. Full administrative support, supervision, facilities, and equipment are provided.
While clinical and/ or forensic experience is desired, we are happy to work with and train someone without prior exposure to these roles who is enthusiastic to learn and develop.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathic psychologist to join our team. We are happy for the right candidate to design the role as suits them, and to select a balance of the following responsibilities:
- Working with a diverse client base to provide high quality, evidence-based therapeutic treatment;
- The provision of diagnostic assessments and reports;
- Co-facilitation of group therapy programs; and
- Involvement in clinical/ forensic research practice (if this is of interest to the applicant).
