Psychologist - Intervention Team Child and Youth Mental Health Service

About the role

 

Permanent full time opportunity to deliver competent, evidence based clinical psychology services as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers (and their carers) of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.

 

About you

 

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

 

  • Use effective communication skills to work cooperatively and effectively with consumers and carers, the multidisciplinary team and the psychology professional group, hospital and health service staff including from other Hospital and Health Services, private practitioners and government and non-government support agencies.
  • Participate in the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities within the Mental Health Service that continually improve consumer care and enhance the delivery of services within a multidisciplinary team and the service.
