Program Lead - Clinical Services

About Us:

Allambee is a leading provider of specialist therapeutic services for people impacted by sexual violence and/or domestic and family violence with over 30 years’ experience supporting individuals, children, young people, and families of the Peel region.  Alongside our therapeutic programs, Allambee’s Women’s Health Service provides responsive gendered health services, combined with preventive interventions and health promotion activities to support improved long-term health outcomes for women. 

About the Role:

Allambee is looking for a passionate leader with a strong foundation in clinical practice to join our therapeutic team. The Program Lead (Clinical Services) is
responsible for the effective operation of Allambee’s Clinical Services under the guidance of the Services Manager. This includes oversight and coordination of program and clinical governance and direct support for clinical staff. The Program Lead (Clinical Services) has line management responsibility for the clinical services team. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with at least five (5) years of clinical experience and demonstrated leadership in community-based services.

Details of the role:

·         Based at Allambee's Peel Health Hub office (Mandurah)

·         Full time (1.0 FTE)

·         Operating Hours: 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday

·         Immediate start date

·         Fully onsite (no remote/WFH)

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Coordination of clinical and program governance for Allambee’s clinical services  

·         Lead clinical practice, case review, and client risk management processes

·         Provide clinical support and debriefing for clinical services team

  • Management of data, reporting requirements, and contractual obligations under the guidance of the Services Manager
  • Effective line management of clinical staff.

 

About You:

Allambee is looking for a passionate, motivated individual with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a commitment to leading excellence in specialist therapeutic services.

The successful candidate will bring the following:

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related discipline with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the role, including eligibility for membership in the relevant professional association.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents and/or adults.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully leading a team or managing a specific program/project.

 

Able to Demonstrate:

  • An understanding of family and domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, and the impact of trauma consistent with widely accepted theoretical frameworks and therapeutic interventions.  
  • Sound knowledge and experience in working therapeutically with children, young people and adults in need of counselling and support as a result of experiences of abuse.
  • Experience, understanding and appreciation of issues experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from diverse backgrounds and gender diverse people. 

·         Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Program management and evaluation skills to analyse data, identify needs and trends, develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and evaluate and report on outcomes.
  • High level IT, communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement including the ability to establish and maintain strong networks within the local community services sector.

 

Desirable

  • A postgraduate qualification is highly desirable

·         Advanced knowledge of theoretical frameworks and interventions relevant to this role.

 

It is essential that all applicants meet the above criteria and are permitted to work and remain in Australia with no limitations.

The successful candidate must have current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check (or equivalent), and a current WA Driver’s Licence (or equivalent).
