Location: Based majority of time in Kew,
but may also be required to attend ISN clinics including Kew, Bundoora,
Moorabbin and on occasion Sydney.

About the
Role: We are
seeking a highly organized and proactive Clinic Placement Manager to join our
team and oversee the logistics of student (provisional psychologists)
placements within our affiliated ISN Clinic which provides community-based
psychology services. This pivotal role involves ensuring the smooth operation
of students placed across ISN’s network of Clinics, aligning both academic
standards and operational efficiency. As the Clinic Placement Manager, you will
work closely with clinical staff, supervisors, and academic leadership of ISN
Psychology and ISN Clinic to ensure that students receive a comprehensive,
real-world clinical experience that meets educational and operational
goals.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Placement Coordination: Manage the allocation of
students to placements within ISN Clinic, ensuring proper clinical
supervision is in place. You will be responsible for arranging individual
and group supervision sessions, and meeting with supervisors regularly to
ensure adherence to placement processes and procedures.
- Onboarding & Scheduling: Ensure students are
onboarded, scheduled, and supervised effectively throughout their
placement period. Ensure all logistical requirements are met in alignment
with academic and clinical standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work in collaboration with
the ISN Clinic Clinical Services Director to align operational practices
with academic goals. Communicate regularly to address any challenges and
provide updates on student progress.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee the smooth
operational running of the community clinic placements while meeting
student needs. Ensure all placements are coordinated efficiently and
comply with academic standards.
About You:
- You have strong organizational and
communication skills and are comfortable managing multiple tasks
simultaneously.
- You have experience in a clinical
or educational setting, with a deep understanding of placement processes,
supervision requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- You have excellent
relationship-building skills and can effectively collaborate with faculty,
clinical supervisors, and students.
- A passion for student success and a
commitment to ensuring high-quality clinical training experiences.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate of Psychology
- AHPRA Registration as
Psychologist
- Area of practice endorsement is
desirable
- Previous experience in a clinical
placement coordination or similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of clinical
education and supervision standards.
- Proven ability to manage logistics,
schedules, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
