Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment and Rehabilitation Services
Clinical
Neuropsychologist Grade 2
3
to 5 days per week
An exciting opportunity is available for a suitably qualified
Grade 2 Clinical Neuropsychologist to join the Memory Matters team. Memory
Matters offers neuropsychology/psychology services including assessments, intervention,
and support services to clients living in Melbourne metro, some regional areas,
and Geelong. We are committed to providing high quality, client-centred
services to maximise client outcomes and improve their quality of
life.
In this role you will have the unique opportunity to hone your
assessment and intervention skills. We offer a range of assessment services
including capacity assessments, dementia diagnosis, brain injury diagnosis,
NDIS access, plan review, and support needs assessments, educational and return
to work assessments, ADHD assessments, cognitive characterisation, monitoring
recovery from brain injury, and rehabilitation planning. We have a broad
referral base and receive requests for services for a diverse population. In
addition to regular assessments, you will have a caseload of intervention
clients who will require psychological support, cognitive rehabilitation, and/or
behaviour support.
Memory Matters has strong relationships with other health
providers, who we work closely with to ensure a holistic and coordinated
response to meeting the needs of our clients. We also recognise the importance
of supporting family members and significant others and offer education and family
counselling.
While ideally you will be someone who can work autonomously,
Memory Matters is a highly supportive practice with 13 neuropsychologists and
excellent administrative support. There is access to one-on-one supervision
whenever required, monthly group supervision, and monthly professional
development sessions.
Memory Matters recently moved, and our head office is now based in
the leafy eastern suburb of Mitcham. You will have a mix of office and
community-based sessions and travel is an essential part of the role as you
will be visiting clients in their homes.
