Mind Body Well is a boutique allied health clinic located in the St Kilda Road precinct of Melbourne. Established more than 15 years ago, we are now expanding our team to meet the continued demand for our services. Our team of Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Dietitians provide therapy for people with a variety of concerns such as mood and anxiety issues, eating disorders, chronic pain, and general health concerns.

We currently have a position available for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team in a salaried position which offers income security and multiple benefits such as access to regular individual and group supervision, and a range of professional development opportunities (including a library of pre-recorded webinars, quarterly in-house professional development, and access to a professional development allowance). Our salaried therapists see a maximum of five clients per day, with ample opportunity to complete clinical administrative tasks and focus on their continued learning and development.

 

Our therapists receive direct support from Janet Lowndes (Founding Director and Psychologist with more than 30 years experience), and a core group of experienced therapists who have been part of the Mind Body Well team for a number of years.

 We're looking for people who:

 

  • Want to be part of a highly skilled, supportive and collaborative team
  • Are familiar and aligned with social justice perspectives which respect diversity and value inclusion (for both colleagues and clients)
  • Have significant interest, training or experience in providing therapy for people experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating (or are willing to undertake this training with our support)
  • Are available between three to five days per week for a salaried role (with some availability to see clients outside business hours)
  • Are eligible for a Medicare provider number (ESSENTIAL)
