Salary Range: $70,774-$74,676 (Up to $78,474 upon achieving a personal upgrade) (PN: 20297) 

The Allied Health team, employed in the Aged Care and Rehabilitation Service (ACRS), ACT Health, are responsible for providing a service to both patients of the inpatient rehabilitation and aged care units of ACRS, as well as community based clients. The service is seeking a Registered Psychologist, who has appropriate skills and experience in Clinical Psychology. Within an aged care and/or rehabilitation framework, the suitable applicant will provide a high level of Clinical Psychological services in an individual or group context, including skilled psychological diagnostic work and psychotherapeutic programs. The position works alongside a small team of Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, and is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Post-graduate Masters qualifications in Clinical Psychology from a recognised tertiary institution, with experience and skills in Clinical Psychology, preferably with experience in an aged care and/or rehabilitation setting, and in working in multidisciplinary teams. ACT Psychology registration (or eligibility) and current driver’s licence are essential.

Note: This is a temporary position available for immediate filling until November 2010 with the possibility of extension. Whilst the position is full-time, applications for part-time work will be considered. This position may be required to participate in an overtime, on call, and/or rotation roster.
