I am seeking a Psychologist able to supervise an intern & who has a small/ medium private practice that could incorporate a forensic/ medico-legal consultancy in exchange for supervision & p/t or f/t employment. My aim is for your practice to expand without the burden of another salaried staff member, i.e. the additional income would more than off-set the extra salary. I cannot afford to undertake f/time psych Master's studies & Medicare has limited the work that interns previously would have done. Therefore, to acheive my goals, I propose to transfer & develop the forensic consultancy for you, work to attract private counselling clients & perform psych-related & other duties in return for generalist training & supervision. My expectations regarding remuneration are not the major concern as my primary & long-held goal is to gain full registration.  My forensic work would be under your practices' banner, and with a registered psychologist as the principal, the range & scope of work, referral sources, and income should increase significantly. I believe I also have other skills that could be of benefit to a private practitioner.

My consultancy is new but growing & revolves around court reporting & related forensic, mental health, D & A therapy/counselling. I have worked on cases in northern NSW, Bris. & both coasts: with a number of law firms & legal-aid offices already referring clients. Without any marketing except personal recommendations from clients & referral firms this "un-planned" business is growing rapidly. Thus far the work has focussed on criminal offender/ defendant reports, but will soon expand into family law assessments.  I can provide further details including CV, referrer recommendations etc and would entertain any offers that would lead to supervision & eventually full registration.
