Clinical and Counselling Psychologists required

One Mind Health is growing! We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified Psychologist to join our team in the beautiful coastal location of Kingscliff, Northern NSW. A perfect position servicing clients between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.

We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our team. 

We have great referral pathways with local GPs and are flexible in supporting Psychologists to create a work life balance that works for them. We are seeking a contractor who can initially commit to one day a week with a desire to increase their caseload accordingly. We have regular team meetings, peer supervision and connection opportunities whilst valuing a clinicians autonomy.  

We insist on:

•  Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA & eligibility for APS membership.
• Eligibility to provide focussed, evidence based psychological services as a Medicare funded Psychologist. 
• A superior level of interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of clientele across the life span.
• A strong client focus, professionalism and ethical standards
• Capacity to work independently and autonomously, requiring minimal supervision 
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Based in Australia and ready to start immediately 

We prefer: 

• Masters or Doctorate level training in Psychology 
• Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical or counselling roles (although new graduates are very welcome to apply) 
• A Psychologist with experience and/or willingness to work with children and/or couples
• Experience in a range of services public health, private, NGO etc with opportunities to navigate various challenges and complex presentations 
• Applicants looking for a minimum of 2 days work per week (starting initially with 1 day and increasing)
