Mindwise Psychology are seeking Psychologists for our thriving Private Practice in Ballajura. This position will suit someone who wants to work privately without the stress of having to build a referral base and setup costs.

Flexible Private Practice Contractor or Part-Time Full Time Positions available.

About Mindwise Psychology:

Mindwise Psychology is a well-established Private Practice in Ballajura, WA. Our team maintain strong relationships with medical providers within the surrounding areas. Our team currently includes 7 Registered Psychologists and two dedicated Administration staff.

Mindwise Psychology caters to a wide range of clients including individuals (child to older adult), couples and families.

We use (but are not limited to) an array of treatment modalities such as as Schema therapy, CBT, DBT, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Interpersonal therapy, EMDR, and Solution focussed therapy.

Immediate start required.

Essential Criteria include:

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Hold police and working with children clearances (if applicable)
  • Meet eligibility and be willing to obtain a Medicare provider number
  • Have own professional indemnity insurance/liability insurance
  • Australian Business Number (ABN)

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Working afternoons/evenings and Saturdays
  • Working with clients to guide them in making positive changes through psychological therapies
  • Providing evidence based therapeutic intervention
  • Group work options
  • Report writing as required
  • Liaise with and report to referrers, health care providers, lawyers and insurance companies as relevant to their cases
  • Relevant administration and case management
  • Identifying mental, behavioural or emotional disorders
  • Administering psychological tests and assessing the results
