Mindworx Psychology is a modern, award winning, well-established private practice in Sydney Hills District.

Founded and directed by Dr Amanda Mulllin, our experienced team of clinical and registered psychologists are supported by full-time, friendly administration and support staff, working within our well-appointed rooms on the lakeside at Norwest.

Due to our continued expansion, we are currently recruiting

  • full and part-time psychologists, 
  • clinical psychologists and 
  • experienced registered psychologists
  • Sessional (after-hours and weekend) psychologists

We offer both salary (employed) or contract (independent contractor) options for our staff.  New graduates and Clinical Registrars are welcome to apply.

Our professional, modern, sunlit and friendly team environment is designed to support our clinicians to do their best clinical work, and to enable you and our clients to feel exceptionally well taken care of.

Our focus is on creating a supportive environment alongside the opportunities for you to develop and grow your skills in working with your ideal clients. An administrative support team in combination with our client relationship team provide exceptional support – allowing therapists to focus on what they do best: working with clients.

By taking care of the reception and marketing duties, our Psychologists focus their time on treatment planning, their professional development, and delivering excellent treatments.

We take pride that our team work in other settings such as local hospitals, and that some hold lecturing roles in leading universities – we believe this brings a special dynamic to our private practice.

In addition, we also have consulting rooms available evenings, and weekends for Sessional Psychologists interested in working less hours or dipping their toes into Private Practice.

Selection Criteria:

§  Registration with AHPRA and eligibility to register with Medicare (either Clinical or general)

§  Post-graduate training desirable but not essential

§  Excellent case formulation for a broad range of psychological disorders 

§  A warm, approachable manner, with the ability and confidence to work independently 

§  Excellence in a range of therapeutic approaches (CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, Schema Therapy)

§  Experience in working with children and families is highly desirable 

§  Passionate about making a difference in mental health 

§  Demonstrated commitment to professional development and self-reflective practice

§  Self-motivated, organised and efficient at managing time and tasks 

§  Enjoy working as part of a friendly, supportive team

§  A sense of humour, a willingness to join our Prac meetings, join us on team outings, and become part of our work family
