My Psychology Tasmania is a business unit of Family Based Care Tasmania, a large not for profit community care organisations based in Burnie in Tasmania with other offices in Launceston and Hobart.  Our aim is to provide a general psychological practice for communites and to become a leading provider of therapeutic supports to the NDIS and Aged Care in Tasmania. 

The Tasmanian community is eclectic and increasingly diverse, allowing practitioners to work with a range of clients and presentations. We have numerous referral sources and contracts, including National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Work Cover, Home Care Packages & GP Referrals. We also offer medico-legal assessments. 

Qualifications & experience

AHPRA registered Psychologist with Approved area of practice - Clinical Psychology

or AHPRA registered Psychologist

Tasks & responsibilities

·     General Psychology / Counselling

·     NDIS behavioural management plan review

·     NDIS cognitive based therapy

·     Workers Compensation assessments

·     Vocational Rehabilitation Assessment and reports

·     Medico Legal reports and court and tribunal presentations as required

·     Supervision of Provisional Psychologists in the practice

·     Complete case notes and reporting as required by Medicare and other funding bodies


·     $86,000 - $109,000 base salary per annum
