About the role:
This is a wonderful and rare opportunity to join our Clinical Psychology team, working with experienced senior clinicians as part of a broad multidisciplinary team who have a strong reputation for being supportive, innovative and exceptional. Working across inpatient and outpatient service streams, Clinical Psychology provide assessment and treatment for patients with diverse and complex psychiatric clinical presentations associated with progressive neurological and palliative conditions. Given the challenging nature of psychological treatment for life-limiting conditions, we are seeking a clinician with experience, good clinical acumen and sensitivity. An awareness of modifications to treatment methods that may be required in neurological illness would be valuable. There is also opportunity to participate in research as part of an internationally recognised progressive neurological disease research team.
What you bring:
A minimum of a Master's degree in Clinical or Health Psychology;
Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
Clinical endorsement is desirable;
Current clinical knowledge in the field of progressive neurology is desirable;
Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
