$101,955 - $115,005 (plus super) (plus BDCP)

About the worker:

·         Senior psychologist able to consult, advise on, and conduct complex psychological assessments and/or analysis within an integrated workforce.

·         In-depth knowledge of professional psychological practice including ethical, legal and professional standards with the ability to apply this knowledge to a contracted/casual workforce.

·         Ability to comply with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

·         Sound decision-making and judgement to provide subject matter expert advice to vetting staff.

·         Responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of relevant policies and procedures.

·         Ability to engage in very complex problem solving, issues management, and coordinate and perform sensitive projects that deliver business requirements for Defence. 

·         Demonstrated ability to identify relevant stakeholders’ concerns and expectations and to actively manage key stakeholder relationships required to achieve outcomes.

·         Adept at building team capability through supervision, along with reviewing and providing feedback relating to the quality of work undertaken by others within the work unit.

 

Benefits of the position:

·         Additional remuneration above the EL1 bandwidth dependant on qualifications and approval; BDCP of 15% - 40% of the standard EL 1 salary range.
