About the worker:
Senior psychologist able to consult, advise on, and conduct complex
psychological assessments and/or analysis within an integrated workforce.
In-depth knowledge of professional psychological practice including
ethical, legal and professional standards with the ability to apply this
knowledge to a contracted/casual workforce.
Ability to comply with legislative frameworks, government
decision-making, and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.
Sound decision-making and judgement to provide subject matter expert
advice to vetting staff.
Responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of
relevant policies and procedures.
Ability to engage in very complex problem solving, issues management, and
coordinate and perform sensitive projects that deliver business requirements
Demonstrated ability to identify relevant stakeholders’ concerns and
expectations and to actively manage key stakeholder relationships required to
Adept at building team capability through supervision, along with
reviewing and providing feedback relating to the quality of work undertaken by
others within the work unit.

Additional remuneration above the EL1 bandwidth dependant on
qualifications and approval; BDCP of 15% - 40% of the standard EL 1 salary range.
