Psychologist - Grade 2
30.4 Hours per fortnight
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Grade 2 Psychologist to join our experienced team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists in the Psychology Department at Ballarat Health Services.
As part of an Allied Health multidisciplinary team, the Psychology Department provides diagnosis, assessment and intervention services to assist patients in recovery from and adjustment to acute and chronic illness, injury, trauma and neurodevelopmental and cognitive conditions. In addition to excellent knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention, the successful applicant will demonstrate strong commitment to BHS' values of teamwork, respect, accountability and compassion.
The successful applicant will have well-developed skills in working with patients on an individual basis, as well as experience in leading group based psychoeducation and behaviour change support groups.
Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential. Applicants are required to have an approved area of practice in clinical psychology, or be working toward endorsement.
