About the Job

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist to join a dynamic team that affords you the benefits of a public health position with the flexibility of a private service role.

We currently have part time (minimum 0.4FTE) and full time employed positions available.

Positions can commence anytime from now through to February dependant on your availability. We offer flexible work arrangements, competitive remuneration, in house training and mentoring, a team-focused culture and support to develop into senior leadership roles.

This role can be tailored to suit your interests as an individual including opportunities to build skills in our niche areas if desired and to participate in research, teaching/training, supervision, and clinical projects in addition to direct client work within our collaborative care framework depending on your interests and career goals.

You will be working with complex presentations that require long-term treatment and exceptional rapport building and formulation skills as demonstrated by high client retention rates.

We will want you to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with other health professionals from a range of disciplines.

You will also have a key role in utilising your clinical experience to contribute to teaching and supervising our early career clinicians. You will therefore have experience as a clinical supervisor or eligibility to provide primary supervision under the clinical registrar program and willingness to work towards board approval.

There is also the opportunity to join the AIS mental health referral network as part of this role (if desired) to provide support to podium level athletes.

PLEASE NOTE: This role does require clinical endorsement as supervision of clinical psychology registars forms a part of the role. However, we are always looking for Senior Clinicians to join our team, so if you are interested in a similar role but do not have endorsement please feel free to get in touch to discuss possible opportunities.
