Registrar/Experienced Provisional Psychologist Positions for Multi-disciplinary Paediatric Practice

Developmental Paediatrics is a pioneering Paediatrics centre that supports children with learning, behavioural and developmental challenges. We have a large team that helps children and their families navigate through what can be a very challenging time in their lives.

Our team includes Developmental Paediatricians, Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Neuropsychologists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and other medical and allied health professionals. We are in the shopping precinct of Bondi Junction and only few minute walk from the train station and bus depot.

We are seeking Registrars or Provisional Psychologists who are experienced in administering WISC & WIAT with children and adolescents. We have a number of positions for weekly or fortnightly casual shifts administering assessments as part of a Multi-disciplinary assessment day that includes a Paediatrician, Clinical Psychologist and Dietitian.

Successful applicants will be required to administer these assessments in a timely and professional manner on the day and are required to write formal observations of the child that will be included in a team assessment report.

We are seeking staff for casual 4-5 hour shifts on weekdays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a Working With Children Check. Please note that candidates are required to be able to independently administer WISC V and WIAT III assessments, and therefore Clinical, Ed/dev, or Neuropsych registrars are ideally suited to the roles. Candidates without experience independently administering these assessments to a number of children need not apply.

These are paid positions, but no supervision is provided.

Please email akearns@developmentalpaediatrics.com.au to apply for the position with your resume attached. Please include details of where you have experience administering these assessments and the number you have done.
