Psychologists/Clinical Psychologists to join our team at Talkingminds commencing
November/December 2019/January 2020 (start dates are flexible) to fill contractor positions 1-3 days
per week. There is the potential for half days to be considered for the right candidate.

We are looking for a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist with:
§ Ideally, at least 2 years'
clinical experience with a strong focus on counselling, psychotherapy,
psychological interventions & mental health. **We may consider Clinical Psychology Registrars for these positions, depending on their clinical focus/prior experience.
§ Current Medicare
provider status (or the eligibility and willingness to obtain) as well as
registration with AHPRA.
§ A commitment to
excellence in the delivery of a range of therapeutic approaches with a broad
§ Experience in working
with clinical complexity (including trauma and complex trauma) using a
strengths based philosophy.
§ Experience and skill
in innovative therapeutic approaches and a strong commitment to measurable
client outcomes and goals.
§ Excellent written and
verbal communication skills including the ability to problem solve, multi task
and time manage.
§ A reflective work
ethic and practice style.
§ The ability to work
both independently and as part of a team, respecting the diversities of a

advocacy skills and sound knowledge of local referral pathways and services for
§ A strong
understanding of and commitment to upholding professional ethics alongside of legal and statutory
§ Availability to work
1-3 days a week which ideally includes evenings and may include Saturday work.
