The Better Generation Health Group (TBHG) are a team of Allied Health Professionals dedicated to supporting the most disadvantaged and worthy people in our community, through supporting them to achieve their goals. We have a genuine national footprint, over a decade of evidence in support of a ‘work first’ intervention framework and proven results in changing lives.

Our Psychologists apply evidence-based interventions with a clinically diverse and rewarding client base. We support all staff with supervision, mentorship and a ‘first amongst equals’ leadership approach underpinned by a ‘research practitioner’ framework. As an organisation The Better Health Generation is supportive of career development, promotion and academic extension.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We have experienced unprecedented growth over the past 12 months and as such now require an additional full-time board approved Supervisor and Clinical Lead to join our Quality team. Our preference is for someone to join our team at our Brisbane office, however applicants outside this area or inter-state will also be considered.

We have offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, as well as a large remote workforce. Our supervision is largely provided by video-conferencing platforms, in accordance with AHPRA guidelines.


ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is comprised of supervision (2-3 days/wk) and part leading clinical excellence. The below outlines some of the aspects this role will include:

 

  • Apply your clinical experience to develop Learning & Development content and delivery of this to our staff team
  • Assist with the development of clinical materials and resources for our growing business areas (eg. Assessment services, NDIS, Corporate health & EAP, employment services)
  • Support, monitor and evaluate the development of interns completing the 4+2 and 5+1 internships through the Better Health Generation Curriculum
  • Provision of regular individual supervision, group supervision sessions and reviewing of clinical reports 
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and enhancement of the Supervision program, informed by identified learning and support needs

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Board approved supervisor status (or willingness to obtain)
  • Desirable - Clinical and/or Counselling endorsement and supervision of higher degree students or registrars 
  • Desirable - Experience in neuropsychological assessments, medico-legal assessments, disability, or employment services
