The practice provides a range of services including diagnostic assessments for all ages and treatment for related issues such as anxiety and depression.
I am looking at expanding our practice and seek a clinical psychologist or educational and developmental psychologist who has some experience in the assessment and diagnosis of children with autism. Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team is desirable as is experience in providing therapy to children and families. ADOS training is desirable.
The key advantages of coming on board with JMA are that you will get to work with a psychologist who is keen to pass on her extensive knowledge and experience with both assessment of children and over time with adults as well. In addition you may have the opportunity to gain experience in conducting therapy for a range of mental health consequences related to ASD. A strong focus on the identification of girls and women with ASD is a significant part of our practice.
This is a subcontracting position and details will be discussed at the time of interview. Supervision will be provided. The successful applicant will have well developed written and verbal skills and have a strong interest in Autism. Professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance are essential as well as a car licence and car.
