Psychologist (Senior Position)

neuroCare Clinics provide an environment for Psychologists to flourish within a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Psychiatrists, Psychology specialists, Speech Pathologists and intervention support teams. neuroCare is a global organisation, with clinics across Europe, USA and Australia. The Melbourne clinics require a new team member to support the current local expansion.

The Psychologists role is varied where assessments are primarily diagnostic in nature, or used to clarify strengths and weaknesses to assist with treatment planning. In addition to mental health conditions, a wide variety of co-occurring neurological conditions are commonly assessed for, including ADHD, alcohol/drug related cognitive impairment, Depression, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders.  This includes varied assessments, report writing, client / family / referrer feedback, recommendations and treatment planning. 

In addition, interventions to provide psychology services to people with a wide range of psychiatric, neurological and developmental conditions.  An opportunity to learn new skills with scientifically based therapy methods combined with neuromodulation procedures (e.g. EEG Biofeedback, rTMS).  Training and supervision is provided.


We are looking for:

A Psychologist with experience in cognitive behavioural therapy.

Experience and affinity with neuroCare patient groups: ADHD, Depression and OCD Interest in the acquisition and application of new, evidence-based neuro-biological treatment methods (e.g. rTMS, Neurofeedback)

Experience undertaking psychometric assessments.  A sense of teamwork and responsibility, curiosity, open-mindedness, flexibility, creativity.

Ability to supervise within a team framework, develop strategy to improve efficiency, outcomes and KPI's.

Experience with developing policy and procedures in line with best practice within the healthcare framework.
