NeuroRehab Allied Health Network
NeuroRehab Allied Health Network are an established private neurological rehabilitation practice, servicing Melbourne and surrounds. We operate from three large rehabilitation clinics in Deer Park, Thomastown and a brand new Werribee location. Our clinic bases complement our extensive community based service. Currently employing a large team of Neurological Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Neuropsychologists, Exercise Physiologists, Registered Music Therapist, RemedialMassage Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, we seek an additional Psychologist with an interest in Neurology/Disability to join our team.
With a special focus on neurological rehabilitation and disability, we work with clients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, MS, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability and a range of neurological impairments. We aim to be the service of choice for participants eligible for services under the NDIS and are registered under a wide range of support categories in capital supports, capacity building and core supports. We accept referrals in all age categories from Paediatricsto Elderly (dependent on our staff experience).
Psychologist - Behaviour Support
As a NeuroRehab Allied Health Network Behaviour Support Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering behaviour support services to a caseload of paediatric and adult clients with a range of developmental, genetic, or acquired neurological conditions.
Referrals are predominantly from NDIS support coordinators, however, may also include TAC or clients/families themselves.
The behaviour support psychologist would be working alongside predominantly neuropsychology, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to provide multi-disciplinary intervention to support clients to meet their goals.
We provide a mobile service to assist clients in their own environment, as well as clinic based appointments in Deer Park, Thomastown, or Werribee.
The position will suit clinicians living in the Northern or Western suburbs of Melbourne who enjoy flexibility and variety in their work. There is opportunity for the interested clinician to develop skills in cognitive assessment under the supervisionof our Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist.
Working hours are negotiated directly with clients, allowing excellent flexibility. We are seeking applications for a permanent part-time role for 3-4 days per week however hours could be spread over 5 days if preferred (ie. school hours canbe accommodated). Job share would be considered.
Remuneration is a combination of salary and bonus commission and is dependent on experience. - Registration as Psychologist with AHPRA
- Competency in Functional Behaviour Assessment and Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Disability
- Driver's license and own vehicle
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Laptop / Internet access
Previous experience providing behaviour support services within an NDIS framework.
Candidates are required to undertake a Police check prior to appointment and are required to disclose any pre-existing injury or illness which may be adversely affected by undertaking the position.
