As a practice we have a niche focus on eating and feeding disorders, obsessive compulsive and related disorders, anxiety disorders, child & family services and working with clients with a Christian faith. Our team members also have their own individual interests and niche focuses.

About the Job

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist to join a dynamic team that affords you the benefits of a public health position with the flexibility of a private service role.

We currently have two positions available:

- Full time ongoing (would consider 0.8FTE for the right candidate). 

- Part time onging (0.4FTE or 0.6FTE) - days are flexible 

Positions can commence anytime from now through to September dependant on your availability. We offer flexible work arrangements, competitive remuneration, in house training and mentoring, a team-focused culture and support to develop into senior leadership roles.

This role can be tailored to suit your interests as an individual including opportunites to build skills in our niche areas if desired and to participate in research, teaching/training, supervision of early career staff, and clinical projects in addition to direct client work within our collaborative care framework depending on your interests and career goals.

We are looking for an experienced team member who shares our values and has a willingness to commit to investing in and growing in this role for the long term.

You will have

  • the ability to work with complex presentations that require long term treatment and exceptional rapport building and formulation skills as demonstrated by high client retention rates.
  • a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with other health professionals from a range of disciplines
  • a strong passion for and a minimum of 3 years working in your niche area

Ideally, you will also be interested in utilising your clinical experience to contribute to teaching and supervising our early career clinicians and will therefore have experience providing supervision or eligibility to provide supervision either as a primary or secondary supervisor within the next 6 months and willingness to work towards board approval.
