Qualified Corporate Psychologist or Experienced Organisational Consultant

This unique role will provide you with the opportunity to combine your organisational psychology skills with your research skills. We are an innovative organisation within the community care space seeking to develop solutions in the attraction, allocation, deployment and retention of our workforce with an underpinning purpose of maintaining the safety of our clients with our zero tolerance to neglect and abuse policy.

The role
We seek to appoint a qualified Corporate Psychologist or an Organisational Psychologist for a fixed term contract (3-6 months) to complete a project as a deliverable in line with our strategic focus. You will be tasked with the role to research, compile and develop a set of tools which will ultimately be used to screen applicants seeking employment across a variety of community / employment settings. Working alongside Senior Management you will work closely with a number of key staff within our organisation to ascertain how we can optimise our personnel and minimise turnover and prevalence of OH&S incidences.

Successful candidate
To be successful for this appointment, you must have a four-year/honours degree or postgraduate qualification in psychology and hold full registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
You will have several years experience working in a professional setting utilising psychometric tools and analysing the output of the data produced to draw valuable and meaningful conclusions for the organisation.

Additionally, you should have sound working knowledge of the provision of psychology services within an operationally focused organisation i.e. providing psychology services that contribute to the everyday outcomes/objectives of an organisation (conducting workplace assessments and interventions, producing reports, conducting training, providing analysis of personnel processes or procedures, involved in personnel selection). We are looking for people with organisational psychology skills (optimising personnel and organisational outcomes) as opposed to clinical skills (providing therapeutic services to individuals).
