The Canberra Psychology Centre for Children and Families ( is a fully established, busy professional psychology practice.

CPCCF provides therapy from the antenatal period through all levels of child development to young adulthood. CPCCF also provides therapy to parents, families and adults. 

The CPCCF team consists of a full time Paediatrician, a Clinical Neuropsychologist, and a range of Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists, many of whom have their own areas of expertise; such as ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, Autism and Perinatal and Infant support services. Our team works closely together to ensure the provision of best practice, evidence based assessment, diagnostic and therapy services.

We are looking for Registered and Clinical Psychologists to join our friendly and supportive team to provide therapy across a range of areas. We provide excellence in Practice Management and reception support services for clients and Psychologists.

Hours are negotiable. We have options for flexible working hours, and for after hours and weekend work. Our offices are spacious and comfortable, and all have large windows overlooking private garden settings, with plenty of natural light. Both locations have staff kitchen and car parking facilities.  

Graduate Recruitment Program –CPCCF provides Board approved supervision for the Clinical Psychology Registrar Program. 

Position Description:

We are looking for psychologists with: 

Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of evidence based therapy for the following client groups: children, adolescents, young adults, parents and/or families.

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Strong communication and rapport building skills  

A genuine interest in the wellbeing of clients

Demonstrated high standard of ethics

Dedication to professional development  


Essential Criteria: 

Experience in the provision of evidence based therapy for children, adolescents and/or families.

Strong CBT skills

Full registration with AHPRA 

Eligibility to register for a Medicare provider number

Your own ABN and Professional Indemnity insurance 

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team


Desirable Criteria:

Completion of a Masters or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. 

Experience with positive psychology therapeutic modalities (ACT, Mindfulness-based therapies).
