A SENSATIONAL ROLE OPPORTUNITY 

We have 3 positions - 1 full time role and 1 Saturday role - 2 evening counselling roles (working from 5pm to 9pm).

Sensational Kids Integrated Child Therapy is wanting an experienced Developmental or Counselling Psychologist for FULL TIME work at our Ormond clinic.

The Opportunity:

To work with both Adults in counselling roles (grief / loss / parenting issues and concerns etc.) as well children in a developmental capacity.  

Sensational Kids offers a varied and collaborative environment.  You'll be working closely with our team of Psychologists, Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.  

We also run playgroups for children - our Psychology team are also involved in supervision and parent discussion around these fun groups. 

Saturday and evening work is also available if desired.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.  

The Right Candidate:

Sensational Kids is seeking a professional, well presented and warm therapist with strong counselling skills and rapport building capacities. This person should feel at ease seeing both adults and children and want to work as part of team of therapists.

Having fun is an essential part of what we do at Sensational Kids - we're a play based therapy centre.  The Psychology team has a key role at our clinic - they also act as our early intervention intake workers and are the first line in meeting parents who may have concerns about their child's development.

Additionally, Sensational Kids has external contracts with other bodies and our Psychology team see clients who have been victims of crime as well as staff supervision of external agencies.
